Dick Crawford of Adirondack Bee Supply started keeping working bees at about age 12.  He’s a 4th generation beekeeper on both sides of his family.  Dick started keeping bees in Morrisonville, NY after he got out of the Air Force and currently keeps about 60 hives and 50 nucs. He helped Loretta Supernant start the Champlain Valley Beekeepers Association in the late 70s. Dick is the President of the local bee club, does two local farmers markets in the summer and is active in North Country Square Dance.
